We also believe the right culture and process delivers amazing results - take a look at the 🙌 Polkadot Builder Values - its nothing too serious: just don’t be mean and make sure you contribute as much as you take.

The program aims to foster a dynamic and interactive environment, where developers have the opportunity to engage directly with the Polkadot protocol while testing and prototyping. The word Alpha comes from the concept of Alpha Testing where end-to-end testing of a product is conducted to ensure it meets the business requirements and functions correctly. But unlike Web2 where Alpha testing is done only within a company, in Web3, everyone is involved in Alpha Testing and bringing products live through governance. That gives unstoppable development sustainability and infinite scalability.
Polkadot is the world’s most decentralized opensourced network that anyone can contribute to the success of Polkadot’s Core Products and bring it to life.
If you are new to the program, finish the checklist within the Onboarding Guide so that you are well-connected to the program!
When applying for the program, you would have been asked more details of your project including the location for its associated repository (Github preferred). We fully recognize the need to pivot and make dynamic changes over the lifetime of the program. Please keep track of progress by setting up a view for Milestones using the Project feature on Github to track PRs and Issues. See this representation as example - it will help our team keep a tab on how your progress is going.
As a team on the program, you are potentially eligible to additional resources which includes Substrate code reviews/advisory calls by Blockdeep Labs, complimentary cloud credits and a fuzzer security review by SR-Labs! To be eligible you need to be a contributing team on the Alpha program that is actively involved in providing feedback on Polkadot’s core products. DM the POCs to confirm your eligibility!
